On March 15, 2019, the Civilian Complaint Review Board (CCRB), with the sponsorship of the John Jay College of Criminal Justice Office for the Advancement of Research, will host a symposium on law enforcement oversight at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, 524 West 59th Street, New York, NY 10019.
During the symposium, criminal justice and law enforcement scholars and reform advocates will convene for discussions on how police oversight entities can better serve civilians. Panels will focus on building confidence on the police complaint process, bridging the gap between communities and oversight entities, and using data—including body-worn camera footage—to increase transparency in the police oversight process.
If you have questions about the event, requests regarding accessibility, or need language interpretation services, please email email@example.com. Interpretation services are free upon request.
