Overview of Action Plans

Department of Housing and Urban Development

Recipients of CDBG-DR funding must develop and publish an Action Plan describing how its awards from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will be used to support short- and long-term recovery efforts and build resiliency to the challenges of climate change. Separately, recipients of CDBG-NDR funding must also develop and publish an Action Plan describing how its award through the National Disaster Resiliency Competition will advance specific resiliency projects.

You can view the City’s Action Plans and learn more about how the City is using each allocation by visiting the CDBG-DR Action Plan or NDR Action Plan pages.

From time to time, Action Plans are revised and updated to add or clarify information, change or add additional Programs or program benefits, or to reduce, increase, or reallocate funding, as appropriate.

In addition, the City will hold at least one public hearing during the public comment period to incorporate public input into any proposed changes. To view past or proposed amendments to the Action Plans you can visit the Amendments page.
