Pedestrian plazas are areas designed by the Department of Transportation for pedestrian use and enjoyment. These areas can be permitted for charitable, civic or commercial purposes. Each pedestrian plaza falls under a particular level (A, B, C, or D). These levels are determined by their size and location. Learn about plaza levels.
Click a level (i.e., A, B, C, or D), to view a list of plaza names at that level. Each plaza name is accompanied by the community board it is located in, as well as its square footage. Click a plaza name to learn more about the plaza. Click a plaza map link to open a PDF map of the plaza area.
