NYC Housing Development Corporation's (HDC) Program for Energy Retrofit Loans offers financing for energy efficiency improvements and fuel conversions for multifamily properties currently in HDC and HPD's portfolio. HDC is a public benefit corporation created by the New York state legislature to provide financing for multifamily affordable housing.

NYC Clean Heat was a program offered by the City of New York until June 2015 to provide technical assistance to buildings required to convert to cleaner heating fuels.
