A Personal Identification Number (PIN) allows you to link information about your Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) records to your online account. You need a PIN to renew or make changes to your existing DCA license.
You do not need a PIN to apply for a new license.
IMPORTANT: Record ID and PIN appear on your Renewal License Application (if you are an existing licensee) or on the Acknowledgment of Application printout (if you submitted your application in person at the DCA Licensing Center or NYC Small Business Support Center). Please check before you submit the form below.
If you hold multiple DCA licenses, you can provide all your license numbers in the Record Number, CAMIS ID, or License Number field below. You should receive your PIN within 48 hours of your request Monday through Thursday. Allow extra time for requests submitted Friday through Sunday. A representative will contact you if there are any issues with your request.
