Who We Are

The NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) provides effective shared services to support the operations of New York City. With over 2,500 employees, DCAS ensures that all City of New York government agencies have the resources and support needed to deliver on their missions. This includes managing citywide procurement, the city’s vehicle fleet, the city’s civil service system, 56 public buildings, the city’s utility accounts, the city’s real estate portfolio, and so much more.

DCAS is organized into 12 divisions referred to as lines of service. The lines of service are:
