Permanent civil service employees of the City of New York with current salaries of $90,000 or less are eligible.
Public Service Award recipients perform exceptionally on the job by either: a) measurably improving the efficiency and quality of services to the people of New York City, or b) significantly enhancing the prestige of City Service, or c) demonstrating dedication to their work well beyond their job descriptions.
Any agency, supervisor, union, or co-worker may nominate any employee. Nominations must be endorsed by the Agency Head.
