Nonpublic School Security Reimbursement Program Information
Rules of the Program
The Non-Public School Security (NPS) Reimbursement Program Rules of June 27, 2016 set the criteria and process governing the selection of qualified providers of security services, define the eligibility criteria applicable to non-public schools that seek to participate in the reimbursement program, and establish a process for schools to obtain reimbursement for procuring security guard services.
Local Law 2
Local Law 2 was enacted in January of 2016 and empowered the mayor of the City of New York to authorize the Non-Public School Security Reimbursement Program.
