Cafecito Breakfast with Police Commissioner Bratton

On Wednesday, March 30th, 2016, Lee Llambelis, Deputy Commissioner for DDC's Community Partnerships and STEAM Initiatives attended the Cafecito Women’s History Month gathering hosted by Police Commissioner William Bratton at 1 Police Plaza. The group was welcomed by Deputy Commissioner Rosemary Maldonado and Commissioner Bratton spoke about the importance of good Police Community relations and NYPD initiatives to promote public safety.

Cafecito which means “small cup of coffee” in Spanish, is a networking group of Latina attorneys working in the New York City area in both the public and private sectors. The meetings encourage Latina attorneys at all stages of their respective careers to come together and share ideas, experiences, contacts and resources to promote the professional development of female attorneys and also to foster public/private partnerships.
