REAL-TIME KNOWLEDGE CO-CREATION AT RESILIENT PUBLIC SPACES AND COMMUNITIES WILL GENERATE RESEARCH IDEAS FOR TOWN+GOWN

October 31, 2018

Two working groups at this second Town+Gown symposium event of the 2018-2019 academic year, focused on:

  • What allows public space to function as community resiliency asset in both disaster and every day life?
  • Moving from qualitative data to quantitative data:  Where is It and what can it tell us?

“Knowledge co-creation not only moves Town+Gown research projects faster to the “thought leader” stage,” Terri Matthews, Director of Town+Gown, remarked, “but it also generates research project ideas with some embedded “buy-in”.”

The public space function and the quantitative data working groups plan to continue developing their proto research agendas over the next months.
