NYC DDC Participates in Virtual Engineering Kickoff Event

On September 17, 2020, the CCNY Career and Professional Development Institute hosted its first ever Virtual Engineering Kickoff. The online panel featured eight CCNY Engineering alumni. The event provided support and advice to 100+ participating engineering students on how to be competitive in the job market and strategies and resources to secure a position in the field of engineering. DDC Infrastructure Division’s Senior Traffic Engineer, Asheque Rahman, spoke to students about a wide range of topics related to STEAM. He also shared his experience working for DDC as well as providing advice on the importance of internships, time management, work ethics, networking and volunteering.
