HOME TBRA

The HRA HOME Tenant-Based Rental Assistance Program is a United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)-funded rental assistance program run by the NYC Human Resources Administration (HRA) under the oversight of the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD). HRA HOME TBRA will help tenants afford the cost of rent. The application period for the HRA HOME TBRA program has closed.

The program is limited to families and pregnant women in shelter, and chronically street homeless individuals, who receive supplemental security income or social security benefits.

Individuals in shelter and street homeless individuals may request an application from their shelter or outreach worker. Applications are also available upon request by calling 929-221-0043.
