The East Harlem Neighborhood Health Action Center hosts a variety of programs and activities focused on the health and wellness of East Harlem residents. The Action Center is part of the City's effort to promote health equity and reduce health disparities in the neighborhood.

Programs and Initiatives

Wellness Programs

  • Family Wellness Suite: A safe, welcoming and supportive space for women, caregivers and their families to connect to community resources and city agency services for support. We can refer you to services that will help you and your family avoid eviction, enroll in health insurance and find employment. We also give out free cribs in the suite every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • Baby Cafés: These support groups for breastfeeding mothers will meet on Wednesdays, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
