The NYC COVID-19 Engagement Portal was developed as a tool to help guide the City's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It allows New Yorkers to self-report COVID-19 information, helping New York City both better communicate with affected people and identify areas that may need enhanced response.
New Yorkers can quickly and confidentially input information about the COVID-19 status of themselves or family members, including quarantine status and the date of on-set of any COVID-19 related symptoms. They can also share their contact information to receive important updates from the City about COVID-19.
All personal information is stored securely. Information that is submitted to the NYC COVID-19 Community Engagement Portal will only be used for the purpose of protecting the public’s health and providing necessary City services and communications to City residents who have or have reason to believe they may have COVID-19. Personal information will not be stored beyond the resolution of the COVID-19 pandemic, and it will not be accessible by ICE, or used for law enforcement purposes.
The NYC COVID-19 Engagement Portal, available at nyc.gov/cv19engagementportal, was built to accessibility standards and is available in 11 languages: Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, English, French, Haitian Creole, Korean, Polish, Russian, Spanish, and Urdu. People without internet access or who need help, can call 311 to input or update their information.
