Concept Papers in 2014

Community Schools Concept Paper

The Department of Youth and Community Development is pleased to present the Community Schools Concept Paper and invites you to comment on the approach it outlines. This Concept Paper serves as a precursor to Community Schools Request for Proposal (RFP), which is anticipated to be released this winter through the HHS Accelerator system. Programs are projected to begin May 1, 2015.

To assist us in developing the forthcoming Community Schools RFP, we greatly welcome thoughts and feedback. Please email your comments to CP@dycd.nyc.gov (enter "Community Schools Concept Paper" in the subject line of the email) no later than December 11, 2014.

Mayor's Youth Leadership Council (MYLC) Concept Paper

The Department of Youth and Community Development is pleased to present the Mayor's Youth Leadership Council (MYLC) Concept Paper and invite you to comment on the approach it outlines. This Concept Paper serves as a precursor to MYLC Request for Proposal (RFP), which is anticipated to be released this winter through the HHS Accelerator system. Programs are projected to begin July 1, 2015.

Neighborhood Development Area (NDA) Concept Paper

On behalf of Commissioner Bill Chong, the Department of Youth and Community Development is pleased to present the Neighborhood Development Area (NDA) Concept Paper and invite you to comment on the approach it outlines with respect to critical social services for New York City's low-income residents and communities. This Concept Paper serves as a precursor to NDA Request for Proposals (RFP), which are anticipated to be released this Fall through the HHS Accelerator system. Programs are projected to begin July 1, 2015.
