Learn & Earn

Learn & Earn (Formerly the In-School Youth Program).  A year-round program for low-income high school juniors and seniors at risk of dropping out of school. The program provides participants with with college preparation, career-readiness, leadership development services, and a paid six- week summer internship. Learn & Earn is for high school juniors and seniors who meet certain eligibility requirements.

Learn & Earn program services include:

  • Guidance and Counseling
  • Paid Internship Opportunities
  • Tutoring
  • College Preparation and Out-of-City College Trips
  • Project-Based Leadership Activities
  • Sports, Arts, Technology, and Recreation Activities
  • Individualized Service Strategies (ISS)
  • Career Planning Assistance

  • September 1st - 30th

Program Requirements

  • Age 16 - 21
  • NYC High School Juniors & Seniors
  • NYC Resident

Additional Information

  • Must have a valid Social Security Number
  • Must be able to work lawfully in US
