"I have been embraced by the City of New York and the FDNY, and the first responders here – it has been my privilege to be able to do what I can to show a little bit of appreciation and support for all that you do in service to this city and by inspiring the nation by what you did on that day, and what you do daily to keep this city safe and to protect the citizens of this great city," said Sinise. "It's been a privilege to be able to just show a little support and to help out the Fire Family Transport, the Friends of Firefighters and I'm just honored to be able to be here today and to thank everyone."
