Fire Commissioner Daniel A. Nigro Presides at Promotion Ceremony For 36 Fire Marshals and 5 Supervising Fire Marshals

Fire Commissioner Daniel A. Nigro will preside over a ceremony promoting 36 Fire Marshals and 5 Supervising Fire Marshals on Wednesday, September 1 – 9:30 a.m. at the FDNY Training Academy – Field House, Randall’s Island.
“Our Bureau of Fire Investigation performs some of the most crucial work in the FDNY,” said Commissioner Nigro. “These newly promoted Fire Marshals and Supervising Fire Marshals will investigate the cause and origin of fires, while at the same time providing firefighters and the general public with life-saving information that will help prevent and educate on how to stay safe from fires.”
