All great businesses deserve great interns.
New York City's Ladders for Leaders program takes the time to recruit, prepare and match high-achieving students with large and small organizations looking for summer help.
Using the citywide ad campaign as a recruitment tool, the city looks to build on this success by growing the program by more than 150 new employers - and offering internships to several hundred more students.
It's a win-win for both local businesses and our City.
Get Help, Give Experience
Recent studies show that more than 4 out of 10 adult New Yorkers with a serious mental illness do not get help or delay getting help. Sadly, because mental health services are often not coordinated, people don't know where to look, and there is still a stigma about seeking help for mental health. With ThriveNYC: A Mental Health Roadmap for All, our city aims to change that by addressing our mental health crisis with a comprehensive public health approach. Along with supporting the development of ThriveNYC, the Mayor's Fund supported the production of this public service announcement with funding from our private sponsors.
