Ms. McCray is the driving force behind ThriveNYC, the City's $850-million action plan to change the way New Yorkers think about mental health, and the way government and its partners deliver services. ThriveNYC will make it easier for people to get help by embedding resources in the places where they live, work, worship and learn.
As Co-Chair of the Commission on Gender Equity, the First Lady is a guiding to create a city where all persons regardless of gender identity or expression is treated equally and lives safely at home and in communities. The First Lady is also honored to serve as Chair to the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City. The Mayor’s Fund is the City's official nonprofit—a-one-of-a-kind organization—that brings together government, philanthropies and the private sector to work on some of the most pressing issues of our time, including mental health, youth workforce development, and immigration and citizenship.
