Donating Cash for COVID-19 Relief

Mayor Bill de Blasio has tasked the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City with activating the COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund to provide resources and support to health care workers, local small businesses, displaced hourly workers, families, youth, and vulnerable New Yorkers affected by COVID-19. To donate, visit the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City website.

Cash is Best

Making a financial contribution to a volunteer agency involved in disaster relief is the best way of helping people in need after a disaster.

If you would like to donate cash to a responding organization, please visit NYC Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NYCVOAD) or visit the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City to identify an active effort.

Donate Services

If your business has a service that can be donated, please visit the partner page. You will be contacted if the service you can offer is needed.

Coordinate *Before* You Donate

Never drop off in-kind (stuff) donations without coordinating your donation with a recipient agency first; only donate in-kind donations if solicited. For more information about how to donate, visit donateNYC.
