Language Access Plan

The goal of all of HPD’s Language Access Plan is to ensure that all New Yorkers have equitable access to the agency’s services. To ensure that language is not a barrier to agency services, HPD has in recent years prioritized training front-line staff, translating public-facing online consumer systems and essential documents into the most commonly spoken languages of our service population, and making translators and translation services available throughout the agency. HPD recognizes this is an ongoing process and is committed to continuously improving its provision of language access services.
