Housing our Neighbors: A New York City Blueprint for Housing and Homelessness is the Mayor Adams' comprehensive blueprint to tackle New York City's affordable housing crisis and get New Yorkers in the safe, high-quality, affordable homes they deserve.
The Housing Blueprint ties together the work of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), the Housing Development Corporation (HDC), the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), the NYC Department of Social Services (DSS), and many other City agencies, to break down silos and address housing issues in a more holistic way. Whether it’s public housing or affordable housing, homelessness or homeownership, City services should work together to serve New Yorkers where they are and where they want to go.

The Housing Blueprint incorporates feedback and ideas gathered from the city-wide survey NYC speaks, homeless and formerly homeless New Yorkers, industry partners, advocates, and the many City agencies that address housing, including the team at HPD.
