Notice About Service of Process
In light of the New York State's Chief Administrative Judge's Order AO/78/20 dated March 22, 2020 immediately limiting filings to essential proceedings because of the COVID-19 outbreak (as it may be amended or extended), and Governor Cuomo's Executive Orders 202.8 and 202.14 tolling the period for service of process until May 7, 2020 (as it may be amended or extended), please take notice of the following changes regarding service of process on the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD):

  1. HPD is not accepting personal service until further notice. For anyone seeking to serve HPD, we have established an email address where we are now accepting service at this time. The newly established email address for service is
