For the past 30 years, Sandra Erickson ('15) Real Estate's primary focus was on property management. During the past 15 years, SERE has been active in development, in part through participation in HPD's Neighborhood Entrepreneur Program (NEP). This project, the Clay Avenue Cluster, is a 6 building, 86 unit gut rehab representing an investment of $10 million. In 2006, SERE was awarded a 32 unit building through HPD's Third Party Transfer (TPT) Program. This $3 million, occupied substantial rehab was undertaken in 3 phases using outside buildings and checkerboard relocation efforts. SERE completed a moderate rehab in 2013 on a property Sandra has owned since 1989. This 25-unit, Queen Anne style gem in the Tremont neighborhood of the Bronx received new electric, roof, windows, masonry, mailboxes, etc. In Dec 2014, SERE closed on a $15 million, 4 building, 100 unit preservation project. This 3 phase development is nearing completion of the 1st phase of construction and is scheduled to be completed in mid 2016.
