HPD Build-Out focuses on aiding HPD development partners identify potential contractors or professional service providers for work on affordable housing projects, and presenting a seminar series on a range of topics. The goal of the HPD Build-Out Seminar Series is to create a better understanding of project development, project readiness, and capacity building.

In order to implement Mayor Bill de Blasio’s sweeping green-building initiative and increased affordable housing goal, this panel will share the current energy efficiency practices on affordable housing projects in New York City. Additionally, our panelist experts will provide a general understanding on Passive House projects. Equally important, small firms will learn how to become subcontractors on some of these development projects in the future.
