This preservation project involves the substantial rehabilitation of an existing building in Harlem. 508 West 134th Street, rehabbed by MDG Design and Construction, is comprised of 15 residential units in total, of which 11 will be re-occupied by original tenants and four are vacant and will be occupied by qualifying families.
This building has been in City ownership since April 1987. The building will convert to cooperative ownership and has been funded through a private lender loan, HPD City Capital funds, and New York State Affordable Housing Corporation (AHC) grant funds.
