HPD contracts with not-for-profit community-based social services providers to meet a variety of needs of local communities to include affordable housing, Lead Hazard Reduction, property management, family shelters, and contracts in support of the agency’s Housing Choice, and Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) programs.
HPD is also an active partner in the City’s Nonprofit Resiliency Committee (NRC). Formed in 2016, the NRC gives the health and human service nonprofit community a direct voice in influencing the City of New York’s business practices, policies, and technology solutions, from the RFP development process to timely contract registration.
As new features are rolled out in PASSPort – the City’s digital Procurement and Sourcing Solutions Portal – Health and Human Services (HHS) Requests for Proposals (RFPs) may be released through either HHS Accelerator or PASSPort. Procurements listed on the HHS Accelerator Procurement Roadmap as “Planned” and containing “Managed in PASSPort” in the Procurement Title have been or will be released in PASSPort. Providers should always check the PASSPort Public Portal and HHS Accelerator Roadmap to maintain awareness of all upcoming HHS RFPs.
