Master Guide Specifications for Rehabilitation Projects

The following specifications, which were updated in January 2024, should be used as a minimum baseline guide for architects, engineers, and contractors who are performing work on HPD-assisted rehabilitation projects. The specifications reference current New York City Building Code, New York City Energy Code, and Enterprise Green Communities (EGC) Criteria, and are aligned with the Design Guidelines for Preservation. These documents should be used solely for projects assisted by HPD. Any other type of use or unauthorized reprint or reproduction of this material is strictly prohibited.
