Cites for Action Program Manager
The Cities for Action Program Manager is responsible for the coalition’s day-to-day operations. The Program Manager serves as the coalition’s main point of contact, working closely with C4A’s member cities and counties to facilitate the coalition’s advocacy and best practice sharing work. The Program Manager works closely with MOIA’s policy, communications and outreach teams.

 

Neighborhood Organizer
Candidate will work closely with MOIA and other City and nonprofit partners to conduct outreach to communities and neighborhoods most impacted by immigrant focused initiatives to ensure that the concerns of New York City's diverse immigrant communities and community-based organizations are incorporated in the implementation. Under the supervision of the outreach management team, the selected candidates will be expected to help develop and implement outreach strategy and campaign plans; build strong relationships with key community stakeholders and leaders in targeted communities; and activate broad public interest in the IDNYC program and other city services.

 

Project Coordinator for Know Your Rights (KYRs)
The Project Coordinator for Know Your Rights (KYRs) will provide strategic coordination for KYR training sessions for immigrant communities in New York City. The selected candidate will support the organization and coordination of KYR training sessions in various institutions across the city, including community-based organizations, libraries, schools, and other locations.

 

Stakeholder Outreach Corps Member
The Stakeholder Outreach Corps Member will assist in developing, building and strengthening relationships with key stake holders across all levels of government, with community leaders and immigrant serving organizations and with members of the consular community. The City Service Corps Member will facilitate day to day communications with these stakeholders and ensure flow of information on all immigration related policy matters. They will also conduct research and write briefings, conduct data and policy analysis, as well as help coordinate meetings and events with these key stakeholders.

 

Community Outreach Corps Member
Community Outreach Corps Members will lead KYR (Know Your Rights) forums, connect immigrants to various agencies and community-based organizations, help coordinate the annual
Immigrant Heritage Week Celebration, support the outreach and organizing team where needed and manage incoming correspondence and phone calls to our MOIA hotline, and assist with volunteer recruitment and training.

 

We Speak NYC Corps Member
The We Speak NYC Corps Member will support We Speak’s English language program by training facilitators, coordinating site placements, and providing additional capacity to the project allowing We Speak to reach additional New Yorkers.

 

Immigrant Inclusion Corps Member
The Immigrant Inclusion Corps Member will assist in projects to track MOIA’s immigrant inclusion work; develop immigrant inclusion tools for City agencies; and support the overall program.
