Notices of Compliance

A Notice of Compliance (NOC) or sign-off can be issued upon request for approved projects, but LPC does not require an NOC except when addressing open violations and for permits issued in connection with related approvals from the Department of City Planning (DCP). Additionally, the Department of Buildings (DOB) often requires an NOC prior to final closeout of the DOB process.

To obtain a Notice of Compliance, please submit the following:

  • Post-Approval Application Form properly filled out and signed
  • Color photos of all approved exterior work, including work not visible from a public thoroughfare
  • A list of any "as-built" conditions that differ from the original LPC approval

Submit the form and all corresponding materials by hand delivery, or US mail to:

Please do not send requests directly to any LPC staff member.
