Judge Maria Arias

Judge Maria Arias was appointed as a Family Court Judge in January 2010. She is a graduate of the University of Rochester and received her law degree from New York University School of Law. Prior to her appointment, Judge Arias was a Clinical Law Professor for the City University of New York Law School, Main Street Legal Services, Battered Women's Rights Clinic. Prior to that, she was a staff attorney for the Council of New York Law Associates' Community Development Legal Assistance Center and for the Legal Aid Society's Volunteer Division, Community Law Offices. Appointed January 2010. Reappointed January 2019.

Judge Elizabeth Barnett

Judge Elizabeth Barnett was appointed as a Family Court Judge in February 2015. She is a graduate of the College of Mount Saint Vincent and received her law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law. Prior to her appointment, Judge Barnett was an associate at law firms, was a solo practitioner, and worked for the New York State Unified Court System for 22 years in various capacities including Court Attorney, Deputy Counsel to the Chief Administrative Judge, Administrator of Education and Training, Court Attorney-Referee, and Chief Counsel for the New York City Family Court. Appointed February 2015.

Judge Alan Beckoff

Judge Alan Beckoff was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in September 2008 and has been serving in the Family Court. He is a graduate of Lafayette College and received his J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo. For 21 years, he worked for the New York City Law Department, serving as Deputy Borough Chief in the Family Court Division and as Senior Counsel in the Appeals Division. Appointed December 2008; reappointed May 2011. (Formerly appointed to the Interim Civil Court September 2008).

Judge Tracey Bing

Judge Tracey Bing was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in October 2013 and had been serving in Family Court. She graduated from S.U.N.Y. Stony Brook and C.U.N.Y. School of Law. She has served with Harlem Legal Services, the Legal Aid Society, and as Director of the Family Law/Domestic Violence Unit of Manhattan Legal Services.  Appointed January 2016. (Formerly appointed to the Interim Civil Court October 2013; reappointed January 2014 and January 2015).

Judge Keith Brown

Judge Keith Brown was appointed to the Family Court in January 2019. He received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and his law degree from Brooklyn Law School. Judge Brown has practiced family law for 14 years as a solo practitioner, serving at the New York City Administration for Children’s Services, Family Court Legal Services, at the New York City Law Department in the Family Court Division, and at the New York State Unified Court System as a Court Attorney in Family Court, Bronx County. Appointed January 2019.

Judge Sarah Cooper

Judge Sarah Cooper was appointed as a Family Court Judge in January 2012. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton and received her law degree from Cardozo School of Law. Prior to her appointment, she practiced in Family Court for 15 years, having worked for the New York City Administration for Children's Services and as a Court Attorney Referee. Appointed January 2012.

Judge Karen M.C. Cortes

Judge Karen M.C. Cortes was appointed to the Family Court in January 2019. She received her undergraduate degree from New York University and her law degree from Brooklyn Law School. Judge Cortes has practiced family law for nearly 15 years, most recently with the New York State Unified Court System as a Court Attorney Referee in Bronx County, Family Court. Prior to that, she served with the New York City Administration for Children’s Services. Appointed January 2019.

Judge Diane Costanzo

Judge Diane Costanzo was appointed to the Family Court in July 2015. She graduated from LaSalle University and received her law degree from Catholic University. She most recently served as a Court Attorney in the Integrated Domestic Violence Part of Kings County Supreme Court. Prior to that, she served in a quasi-judicial role as a Family Court Referee for 4 ½ years, and was the Executive Assistant to the Administrative Judge of Family Court. Earlier in her career, she was a staff attorney in the Criminal Defense Division of the Legal Aid Society. Appointed July 2015. Reappointed December 2015.

Judge Ben Darvil, Jr.

Judge Ben Darvil, Jr. was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in March 2016 and has been presiding in Family Court. He received his undergraduate degree from Long Island University and his J.D. from St. John's University, School of Law. Prior to his appointment, Judge Darvil served with Family Court Legal Services of the New York City Administration for Children's Services, and as a Court Attorney and Law Clerk with Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Department. Appointed April 2017. (Formerly appointed to the Interim Civil Court March 2016; reappointed January 2017).

Judge Tandra Dawson

Judge Tandra Dawson was first appointed to the Family Court in July 1998. She is a graduate of Spelman College and Brooklyn Law School. Judge Dawson previously served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx County District Attorney's Office. Reappointed February 2005; February 2015.

Judge Jacqueline Deane

Judge Jacqueline Deane was appointed to the Family Court in February 2015. She graduated from Bryn Mawr College and received her law degree from New York University School of Law. Prior to her appointment, Judge Deane was a law clerk to a federal judge and was a training team leader/senior attorney at the Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem. She also served with the Legal Aid Society for 27 years, primarily in the Juvenile Rights Division, holding various positions including Director of Delinquency Training and Practice and Deputy Attorney-in-Charge. Appointed February 2015.

Judge Peter DeLizzo

Judge Peter DeLizzo was appointed as a Family Court Judge in April 2015. He graduated from the College of Staten Island and received his law degree from the CUNY School of Law. Prior to his appointment, Judge DeLizzo was an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County, was an associate attorney in the Office of the Public Defender of Richmond County, and was a Court Attorney-Referee in Richmond County for 8½ years. Appointed April 2015.

Judge Catherine DiDomenico

Judge Catherine DiDomenico was first appointed to the bench in January 2005 as an Interim Civil Court Judge. She was subsequently appointed to the Family Court in January 2006. Judge DiDomenico is a graduate of Fordham University and received her J.D. from Fordham Law School. Prior to her appointment, she served as an Administrative Law Judge, as an Impartial Hearing Officer with the New York City Board of Education, had her own practice, was an associate for a private firm and was a federal law clerk. Appointed to the Family Court January 2006. Reappointed February 2007; February 2017. (Formerly appointed to the Interim Civil Court January 2005).

Judge Alicea Elloras-Ally

Judge Alicea Elloras-Ally was appointed as a Family Court Judge in April 2015. She is a graduate of Barnard College and received her law degree from Penn State University, Dickinson School of Law. Prior to her appointment, Judge Elloras-Ally was a Staff Attorney with the New York City Administration for Children's Services, served as a Court Attorney in Family Court as well as a Law Clerk in Supreme Court, Criminal Term. She most recently served as a Support Magistrate in Family Court for the past 6 years. Appointed April 2015.

Judge Adetokunbo Fasanya

Judge Adetokunbo Fasanya was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in October 2013 and had been serving in Family Court. He graduated from the University of Ife in Nigeria and from the Nigerian Law School. Prior to his appointment, he served with the New York City Child Welfare Administration and was in private practice for 14 years specializing in several areas including family law. Appointed January 2015. (Formerly appointed to the Interim Civil Court October 2013; reappointed January 2014).

Judge Elizabeth Fassler

Judge Elizabeth Fassler was appointed to the Family Court in January 2019. She received her undergraduate degree from Brandeis University and received her law degree from Syracuse University College of Law. Judge Fassler has practiced family law for 20 years and most recently served as Director of Holistic Practice at the Center for Family Representation (CFR). Prior to that, she served with The Legal Aid Society, Juvenile Rights Practice. Appointed January 2019.

Judge Lisa Friederwitzer

Judge Lisa Friederwitzer was appointed to the Family Court in February 2018. She graduated from Queens College and received her law degree from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. Prior to her appointment, Judge Friederwitzer served as a Court Attorney Referee in Supreme Court, Queens County after serving as a Support Magistrate in both Queens and Manhattan Family Courts. Appointed February 2018.

Judge Gregory Gliedman

Judge Gregory Gliedman was appointed to the Family Court in January 2019. He received his undergraduate degree from Occidental College and his law degree from Fordham University School of Law. Judge Gliedman has practiced family law for 17 ½ years and most recently served with the New York State Unified Court System as a Support Magistrate in Family Court, Richmond County. Prior to that, he served with the Legal Aid Society, Juvenile Rights Division before establishing his own practice. Appointed January 2019.

Judge Melody Glover

Judge Melody Glover was appointed to the Family Court in June 2017. She graduated from Georgetown University and received her law degree from Fordham Law School. Prior to her appointment, she maintained her own solo practice specializing in family and criminal law while serving with the Queens Law Associates for the last 20 years. Prior to that, she also served with The Legal Aid Society for nine years in various capacities including as Assistant Attorney-in-Charge of the Kings County office, Juvenile Rights Division. Appointed June 2017.

Judge Carol Goldstein

Judge Carol Goldstein was appointed to the Family Court in April 2015. She graduated from Brandeis University and received her law degree from Brooklyn Law School. Prior to her appointment, Judge Goldstein served with the Legal Aid Society for almost 20 years, primarily in the Juvenile Rights Division. For the past 17 years, Judge Goldstein has been a Court Attorney Referee in Family Court in several counties, most recently in Manhattan. Appointed April 2015.

Judge Alma Gomez

Judge Alma Gomez was appointed to the Family Court in February 2015. She is a graduate of Brooklyn College and received a master's degree from Columbia University School of Social Work and her law degree from New York University School of Law. Prior to law school, Judge Gomez was a bilingual teacher, social work supervisor for the Edwin Gould Services for Children/United Families of East Harlem, and a unit and project director at the Fordham-Tremont Community Mental Health Center. After law school, Judge Gomez served as Executive Director/General Counsel for The Bronx Council for Economic Development and served as a Court Attorney in Criminal Court and Supreme Court for nearly 17 years. Appointed February 2015.

Judge Connie Gonzalez

Judge Connie Gonzalez was appointed to the Family Court in February 2015. She graduated from Stony Brook and received her law degree from Columbia University School of Law. Prior to her appointment, Judge Gonzalez worked for the Nassau County Legal Aid Society for 13 years having last served as Family Court Bureau Chief. Appointed February 2015.

Judge Ronna Gordon-Galchus

Judge Ronna Gordon-Galchus was appointed to the Family Court in March 2019. She received her undergraduate degree from SUNY at Stony Brook and her law degree from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. Judge Gordon-Galchus started her career with the Legal Aid Society in the Criminal Defense Division before establishing a partnership practice in criminal defense and family law which she maintained for nearly 29 years before being appointed to the bench. Appointed March 2019.

Judge Ilana Gruebel

Judge Ilana Gruebel was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in January 2010 and has been serving in Family Court. She graduated from the State University of New York at Binghamton and received her law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She served as a Bureau Chief of the Family Court Division of the Nassau County Legal Aid Society and was with the Legal Aid Society's Juvenile Rights Division in New York City. She was also a Court Attorney Referee in Family Court, Kings County. Appointed August 2010. (Formerly appointed to the Interim Civil Court January 2010).

Judge Alison Hamanjian

Judge Alison Hamanjian was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in February 2017 and has been serving in Family Court. She also briefly presided in Criminal Court. Judge Hamanjian is a graduate of Hunter College and received her J.D. from New York Law School. Prior to her appointment, Judge Hamanjian served with the New York State Unified Court System for twelve years, first as Principal Law Clerk in Supreme Court, New York County, Youth Part, then as an Assistant Deputy Counsel in the Office of Policy and Planning. She also served as a Court Attorney-Referee in Family Court, Richmond County.  Appointed January 2018. (Formerly appointed to the Interim Civil Court February 2017).

Judge Douglas Hoffman

Judge Douglas Hoffman was first appointed to the bench as a Criminal Court Judge in January 2003, and was assigned to the Family Court. He formerly served as the Supervising Judge of New York County Family Court from 2009 to 2016. He is a graduate of Oberlin College and received his J.D. from New York University School of Law. Judge Hoffman was a former Housing Court Judge and formerly served in the Legal Aid Society. Appointed October 2005. (Formerly appointed to the Criminal Court January 2003). Reappointed March 2015.

Judge Anne-Marie Jolly

Judge Anne-Marie Jolly was appointed as a Family Court Judge in September 2010. She is a graduate of Boston University and received her law degree from Albany Law School. Prior to her appointment, Judge Jolly worked for the Office of Court Administration in various capacities including Counsel and Chief of Staff to the Administrative Judge of New York City Family Courts, Deputy Chief Magistrate to the New York State Family Court, and Court Attorney Referee in Family Court. Prior to that, she was with the Legal Aid Society's Juvenile Rights Division for eight years. Appointed September 2010; reappointed May 2011.

Judge David Kaplan

Judge David Kaplan was appointed to the Family Court in June 2015. Prior to his appointment, Judge Kaplan served as Supervising Judge of Housing Court in New York County. He was first appointed as a Housing Court Judge in 2008. Prior to that, he served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Carmen Beauchamp Ciparick in the New York State Court of Appeals and was a Court Attorney to Housing Court Judges. Judge Kaplan received his law degree from Emory University School of Law. Appointed June 2015; reappointed October 2015.

Judge Dean Kusakabe

Judge Dean Kusakabe was appointed as a Family Court Judge in July 2012. He is a graduate of Emory University and received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School. Prior to his appointment, he served with the Legal Aid Society in the Juvenile Rights Division, and was a solo practitioner specializing in family law. Appointed July 2012. Reappointed December 2015.

Judge Lynn Leopold

Judge Lynn Leopold was appointed to the Family Court in February 2018. She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and her J.D. from the University of Bridgeport School of Law (now Quinnipiac School of Law). Prior to her appointment, Judge Leopold served primarily in the Family Court Division/Administration of the New York City Law Department, for nearly 17 years. She last served as Senior Counsel to the Family Court Division. Prior to this, she was with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office and the New York City Housing Authority. Appointed February 2018.

Judge Karen Lupuloff

Judge Karen Lupuloff was first appointed to the bench as Interim Civil Court Judge in January 2005. She currently serves as the Supervising Judge of New York County Family Court since 2016. She is a graduate of the American University and received her J.D. from Temple University School of Law. She most recently worked at the New York State Attorney General's Office, and also served in the New York County District Attorney's Office. Appointed to the Criminal Court December 2005, assigned to Family Court January 2006 and appointed to Family Court December 2015. (Formerly appointed to the Interim Civil Court January 2005).

Judge Ruben Martino

Judge Ruben Martino was appointed as a Family Court Judge in January 2003 and was the Presiding Justice of the Harlem Community Justice Center. He graduated from Yale University and received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He formerly served as a Housing Court Judge and was a Supervising Attorney of the Housing Unit, and Family and Consumer Unit at the Legal Aid Society. Reappointed August 2012.

Judge Michael Milsap

Judge Michael Milsap was appointed as a Family Court Judge in February 2015. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and received his law degree from Indiana University School of Law. Prior to his appointment, he worked for the Legal Services Organization of Indiana and the Prisoner's Legal Services of New York, as well as the New York City Human Resources Administration as an Assistant Supervisor in the Office of Legal Affairs. He most recently served as a Support Magistrate in Family Court for 21 years. Appointed February 2015.

Judge Margaret Morgan

Judge Margaret Morgan was appointed as a Family Court Judge in December 2015.  Judge Morgan is a graduate of Pace University and received her law degree from Jacob D. Fuchsberg Touro Law Center. Judge Morgan has served with the New York City Administration for Children's Services as Chief of Staff in the Division of Family Court Legal Services. She has also served as a Family Court Support Magistrate, presiding in Bronx, New York and Queens Counties. Appointed December 2015.

Judge Robert Mulroy

Judge Robert Mulroy was appointed to the Family Court in January 2013. He graduated from Fordham University and Fordham Law School. Prior to his appointment, he was a solo practitioner specializing in family law and was a Support Magistrate and subsequently Deputy Chief Magistrate of New York State Family Court. Appointed January 2013.

Judge Mildred Negron

Judge Mildred Negron was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in March 2016 and has been presiding in Family Court. Judge Negron graduated from CUNY City College and received her law degree from CUNY School of Law. She formerly served with The Legal Aid Society, Juvenile Rights Division for over 10 years, having served as Deputy and Assistant Attorney-in-Charge of the Queens and Manhattan Offices, respectively. Prior to her appointment, Judge Negron was a Court Attorney-Referee for over 13 years in Kings County and Queens County Family Court. Appointed December 2016. (Formerly appointed to the Interim Civil Court March 2016).

Judge Emily Olshansky

Judge Emily Olshansky was appointed as a Family Court Judge in August 2004. She graduated from Sarah Lawrence College and received her law degree from Cardozo Law School. She was an associate at two matrimonial law firms and held various positions at the New York State Supreme Court's Appellate Division, First Department, including Law Guardian Director. Reappointed October 2007; October 2017.

Judge Peter Passidomo

Judge Peter Passidomo was appointed as a Family Court Judge in July 2012. He received his undergraduate degree from S.U.N.Y. at Albany, and his law degree from Fordham Law School. He served with the New York State Unified Court System in various capacities including as Chief Court Attorney to the Administrative Judge of Family Court, Family Law Advisor to the Chief Administrative Judge, Chief Family Court Magistrate, and Chief Clerk of New York City Family Courts. Appointed July 2012.

Judge Jane Pearl

Judge Jane Pearl was first appointed to the Family Court in February 2000. She received her undergraduate degree from George Washington University, her master's degree and Ph.D from Northwestern University, and her law degree from The Benjamin Cardozo School of Law. Judge Pearl previously served as a Court Attorney Referee in New York County Family Court. Reappointed July 2009.

Judge Valerie Pels

Judge Valerie Pels was appointed to the Family Court in January 2013. She is a graduate of Duke University and Yale Law School. Prior to her appointment, she served with the Legal Aid Society in the Juvenile Rights Division, and as Principal Law Clerk in the Youth Part and Integrated Domestic Violence Part of the Supreme Court. Appointed January 2013.

Judge Joan Piccirillo

Judge Joan Piccirillo was appointed to the Family Court in July 2012. She received her undergraduate degree from Waynesburg University and her law degree from Touro College School of Law. Prior to her appointment, she was in private practice for over 20 years specializing in family law, and served as Principal Court Attorney in Family Court and Supreme Court. Appointed July 2012.

Judge Erik Pitchal

Judge Erik Pitchal was appointed as a Family Court Judge in January 2015. He graduated from Brown University and received his law degree from Yale Law School. Prior to his appointment, he served with the Legal Aid Society in the Juvenile Rights Division, worked for Children's Rights, and was the Director of the Child Advocacy Clinic at Suffolk University Law School. He was also a consultant in child welfare and juvenile justice. Reappointed December 2017. (Formerly appointed to the Interim Civil Court January 2013; reappointed January 2014).

Judge Elenor C. Reid

Judge Elenor C. Reid was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in June 2017 and has been serving in Family Court. She is a graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice and received her J.D. from New York Law School. Prior to her appointment, Judge Reid served with the Office of the Corporation Counsel including the Family Court Division.  She also served as a Court Attorney and Principal Law Clerk for 16 years.  Appointed January 2018. (Formerly appointed to the Interim Civil Court June 2017).

Judge Clark Richardson

Judge Clark Richardson was first appointed to the Family Court in 1995. He is a graduate of Yale University and Cornell Law School. Judge Richardson was a former borough chief in the Family Court Division of the New York City Law Department. Reappointed August 2004; August 2014.

Judge Gayle Roberts

Judge Gayle Roberts was appointed as a Family Court Judge in April 1997. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburg and received her J.D. from Tulane University School of Law. Judge Roberts formerly served in the Bronx County District Attorney's Office. Reappointed 2006; 2016.

Judge Fiordaliza Rodriguez

Judge Fiordaliza Rodriguez was appointed to the Family Court in February 2015. She graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and received her law degree from the CUNY School of Law. She previously worked for the New York City Administration for Children's Services, was a solo practitioner and most recently served as a Court Attorney-Referee in Family Court, Kings and New York County. Appointed February 2015.

Judge Emily Ruben

Judge Emily Ruben was appointed to the Family Court in June 2015.  She served The Legal Aid Society, Civil Division for over 18 years as Attorney-in-Charge of the Brooklyn Neighborhood Office, co-Supervisor of the Domestic Violence Project, and Supervising Attorney of the Citywide Family Law Unit prior to her appointment. Judge Ruben received her law degree from New York University Law School. Appointed June 2015.

Judge Jeanette Ruiz

Judge Jeanette Ruiz was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in July 2007 and presided in Family Court. She served as the Supervising Judge of Kings County Family Court from 2012 to 2015, and became the Administrative Judge of New York City Family Court in 2015. Judge Ruiz received her undergraduate degree from Hunter College, her master's degree from Columbia University's School of Social Work, and her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Prior to her appointment, Judge Ruiz served as a law clerk, was with the New York City Law Department and the Department of Business Services, served as General Counsel to the Harlem Dowling West Side Center for Children and Family Services, and most recently served as the Deputy Commissioner, Division of Family Permanency Services for New York City's Administration for Children's Services. Appointed April 2008; reappointed April 2018. (Formerly appointed to the Interim Civil Court July 2007; reappointed January 2008).

Judge Helene Sacco

Judge Helene Sacco was appointed to the Family Court in August 2006. Since 2010, she has been serving as the Supervising Judge of Richmond County Family Court. She received both her undergraduate and law school degrees from St. John's University. Judge Sacco most recently served as the court attorney to the Supervising Judge of Richmond County's Civil Court for almost ten years. She was also an associate for several law firms as well as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at St. John's University. Reappointed January 2009; January 2019.

Judge Monica Shulman

Judge Monica Shulman was appointed as a Family Court Judge in August 2016. She graduated from Indiana University and received her law degree from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. She served as a Court Attorney Referee in New York County Family Court for six years. Prior to that, she served with the New York City Administration for Children's Services in the Bronx, New York and Kings counties for over 12 years. Reappointed December 2017.

Judge Carol Stokinger

Judge Carol Stokinger was appointed to the Family Court in February 2000. She currently serves as the Supervising Judge of Queens County Family Court since 2009. She graduated from Mt. Holyoke College and received her law degree from Columbia University School of Law. She is currently the Supervising Judge of Queens County Family Court. Judge Stokinger was previously with the New York County District Attorney's Office for almost 23 years having last served as the Bureau Chief of the Family Violence and Child Abuse Bureau. Reappointed January 2010.

Judge Gilbert Taylor

Judge Gilbert Taylor was appointed to the Family Court in March 2016. He graduated from Cornell University and received his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law.  Prior to his appointment, Judge Taylor served with the New York City Administration for Children's Services for 12 years holding various positions including Executive Deputy Commissioner of Child Protection. He has also served with The Children's Rights Society of the Orange County Family Court as Attorney-in-Charge of the Law Guardian Program, and most recently as Commissioner of New York City Homeless Services. Appointed March 2016.

Judge Javier Vargas

Judge Javier Vargas was appointed as a Family Court Judge in December 2015. He received his undergraduate degree from SUNY at Buffalo, law degree from SUNY Buffalo, School of Law and master of law degree from New York University School of Law. Prior to his appointment, Judge Vargas served with the New York State Unified Court System for 22 years in various capacities including Senior Court Attorney, Principal Law Clerk and last served as a Housing Court Judge. Appointed December 2015; reappointed February 2018.

Judge Judith Waksberg

Judge Judith Waksberg was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in July 2015 and has been presiding in Family Court. Judge Waksberg graduated from Brandeis University and received her law degree from New York University School of Law. She had been with the Legal Aid Society her entire career for the past 32 years primarily in the Juvenile Rights Appeals Unit where she last served as the Director for 17 years. Appointed January 2017; reappointed March 2018. (Formerly appointed to the Interim Civil Court July 2015; reappointed January 2016).

Judge Amanda White

Judge Amanda White was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in January 2011 and was subsequently appointed to the Family Court in December 2011. Since 2015, she has been serving as the Supervising Judge of Kings County Family Court. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and her law degree from New York University School of Law. Prior to her appointment, she worked in the Legal Aid Society's Juvenile Rights Division for 18 years, having last served as an Attorney-in-Charge. Appointed December 2011; reappointed August 2012. Judge Karen Wolff

Judge Karen Wolff was appointed as a Family Court Judge in January 2010. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany and received her law degree from Union University at Albany Law School. Prior to her appointment, Judge Wolff was a Special Referee of a Matrimonial Part, and Court Attorney of the Supreme Court, Richmond County. Prior to that, she was an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department's Medical Malpractice Unit. Appointed January 2010. Reappointed December 2015.
