Liza de Guia is a Webby Award-winning and James Beard-nominated director/producer and editor of original online video content, specializing in food and human-interest storytelling. After three years managing marketing promotions at ABC Television, she turned to a career in journalism in 2003, launching Plum TV's lifestyle channel in the Hamptons with her local, environmental coverage and sustainable food show What's Fresh. In 2007, Liza joined Titan TV to become the producer and host of Titan Greens, a weekly online environmental series on the web. After only six months with the company, she was nominated and received a Webby Award for her green series.
Now Liza is filming and directing content that is close to her heart - and her stomach. Food has always been a passion that she wanted to pursue more in-depth, and her dreams are coming true with her online documentary series food. curated. Her stories have been spotlighted by The New York Times, New York Magazine, The Huffington Post, Serious Eats, and The Village Voice, and nominated for a prestigious 2010 James Beard Foundation Award for Best Video Webcast.
