"Made in NY" Logo Program for Film and Television Productions

The City of New York Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) "Made in NY" Logo Program provides qualified film and television production companies with the ability to use the City's "Made in NY" logo in their end credits.

To qualify an applicant's production must meet the following criteria:

  • A threshold Budget of $50,000 in production costs OR the applicant's production accepted into a juried professional film festival.

and

  • At least 75% of its total shooting days take place in New York City; OR At least 75% of its production costs are incurred directly in New York City.

The production must be completed no earlier than 12 months prior to the date of the application to the "Made in NY" Logo Program for Film and Television.

All applicants must apply for this program at least four weeks prior to the final cut of the production (i.e., final edited version of the production).

Download our application for the "Made in NY" Logo Program for Film and Television productions. Each applicant that qualifies for the program because of an acceptance into a juried professional film festival must submit the following with their signed application:

  • An acceptance letter or email from a juried professional film providing confirmation that such film was accepted and premiered at a juried professional film festival; OR
  • A link to the film festival website confirming that the film has been accepted and premiered at a juried professional film festival.

MOME will contact you if your application is accepted, or if additional support documentation is necessary, and will then direct you on the next steps in this process.
