MOME Vendor Opportunities

The Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) works with a variety of companies and service providers to support and strengthen New York City’s creative economy and make it accessible to all. Through the Office of Technology and Innovation (also known as the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications), MOME procures services via request for proposals, competitive sealed bids, as well as other award methods, as per the Procurement Policy Board's rules.

MOME and other City agencies can award contracts of up to $500,000 for goods, professional services, standard services and construction directly to City-certified M/WBEs without formal competition, by using the M/WBE Non-Competitive Small Purchase Method. This streamlined process makes it easier for the City to do business with M/WBEs. Don't miss out! Be ready to receive and respond to these opportunities directed specifically to our City-certified M/WBE businesses. To create an account in PASSPort in order to receive and respond to opportunities directed specifically to City-certified M/WBE businesses, follow the instructions below.

All organizations doing business with the City of New York must use PASSPort (the Procurement and Sourcing Solutions Portal) to complete vendor disclosures, find and respond to contracting opportunities, sign contracts upon contract award, and more. Read an introduction to using PASSPort.

You can read the two-step PASSPort account creation instructions. To view contracting opportunities, visit the PASSPort Public Portal. A PASSPort account is required to respond to solicitations on this page. For PASSPort learning resources, visit the MOCS Learning to Use PASSPort page.

Organizations also need to create a vendor account in the City's Payee Information Portal (PIP) in order to get paid. For assistance with PIP, see the PIP website.

For technical assistance when using PASSPort, submit an inquiry to the MOCS Service Desk. For assistance regarding solicitations, reach out to the soliciting City Agency via the email address listed for the relevant solicitation in PASSPort, or post a question to the solicitation's Discussion Forum in PASSPort.
