RLab is the first publicly-funded virtual reality and augmented reality (VR/AR) lab in the country that supports growing VR/AR companies and entrepreneurs, an convenes cross-sector stakeholders and members of the academic community.
The Made in NY Animation Project offers NYC youth the opportunity to engage in storytelling, gain technical skills in 3D computer animation, and qualify for paid internships in the field. This program is in partnership with NYC Neighborhood Opportunity Network (NeON) Community Centers, and The Animation Project (TAP).

In the first comprehensive study of the podcast industry, MOME found that NYC has become the global hub for production of audio news and entertainment on demand. The top NYC-based networks produced almost 200 podcasts – up nearly 75 percent fron 2015 – and drove over 1.3 billion downloads in 2016.
