In response to the rising rates of COVID-19 in certain parts of New York, the State of New York has divided areas where infections are rising into three zones: Red, Orange, and Yellow. Each zone is under a different level of increased restrictions from the State of New York. On Monday, July 20, 2020, New York City entered Phase 4 of Reopening, which allows media production activity. Production is subject to the restrictions and requirements in New York State and City laws, directives, and guidance.
The Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting (OFTB) is accepting Film Permit applications for production activity. OFTB is operating remotely, so please allow additional time for Film Permit processing. For more information see:
