Just as important as being prepared for an emergency is staying informed; New York City offers a variety of ways to receive emergency information. 


Notify NYC

Notify NYC is the city's source of information about emergency events. Notify NYC is available through email, text, telephone, RSS, Twitter and in many cases American Sign Language videos. To register for Notify NYC, call 311, 212-639-9675 or 711 for Video Relay.

Ready NYC App, mobile application gives its users the ability to store preparedness information on their mobile devise (Apple and Android).
