Charlamagne tha God

Join us for a youth-led conversation with Charlamagne tha God, who reveals his blueprint for breaking free from your fears and anxieties in his new bestseller Shook One. Charlamagne is also the provocative cohost of Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club and the author of The New York Times bestseller Black Privilege. Doors open at 5:30 PM. Question and answer session to follow. A wine and cheese mixer will take place from 6 PM–7:30 PM. Please note that you must be at least 25 years old to attend the mixer.

NeON Arts Inspires brings together bright minds to conduct interactive conversations that are idea-focused, and biographical to foster learning, inspiration and wonder – and provoke meaningful dialogue about overcoming challenges.

NeON Inspires is a part of NeON Arts, a free program of the NYC Department of Probation in partnership with Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute that gives youth the chance to explore the arts through a variety of creative projects throughout the year. Recently, Westat and Metis Associates released an independent evaluation of the program, highlighting the positive impact NeON Arts has had across the city in its first five years.
