Eva Trimble was appointed Executive Vice President for Strategy & Innovation for the New York City Housing Authority in September 2019.
Eva will lead the new Strategy & Innovation Department, which will provide a strategic, data-driven approach for the Authority to use scarce funding effectively and efficiently and improve service delivery for residents. It will focus on engagement with the federal monitor and consultants to structure and drive the development of a new, unified strategic vision and organization plan for the Authority. The Strategy & Innovation Department includes Performance Management & Analytics and Strategic Planning.
Eva has worked for the City of New York for nearly 20 years, spending the last decade at the Department of Housing Preservation & Development (HPD). At HPD, she served in various roles, most recently as Executive Deputy Commissioner with a portfolio that included Financial Management, Tenant Resources, Asset & Property Management, Technology, and Human Resources.
Eva received a Master of Public Administration from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. Eva is also an alumnus of the Coro New York leadership program. She lives in Washington Heights with her husband and two daughters.
