Public Housing Resident Resources

If you’re a NYCHA public housing resident, here’s everything you need to know, from how to pay your rent, how to apply for a parking permit, getting repairs done in your apartment and more.

In addition, you can also learn about critical programs and services available to residents from external and internal partners, with a focus on economic opportunity, youth, seniors, and social services. NYCHA also supports NYCHA’s extensive network of resident leaders as part of its work to strengthen the relationship between residents and the Authority.

Use the tabs above and to the left to find all the information you need and check back often for new resources, policies and procedures, and announcements.

Working with Residents to Dramatically Improve Your Homes

NYCHA recently achieved a major milestone in our efforts to bring our developments the investment they desperately need, so residents can have the quality of life they deserve.

Nostrand Houses will be the first NYCHA development whose residents will vote on whether to have their development renovated through the Public Housing Preservation Trust or the separate Permanent Affordability Commitment (PACT) initiative, or whether they want to remain in the current Section 9 program. Full details here.
