LGBTQ Outreach Unit

Building the relationship with the LGBTQ community and the NYPD through:

Providing senior safety presentation
Conducting "Conversation + Cops" workshops
Youth workshops
Providing education and informational materials at resource fairs and other events
Assisting survivors of possible bias incidents
Working with police precincts, police service areas, and transit districts that are home to our visible LGBTQ communities collaborating with other city agencies and advocacy organizations
