As City employees, we take great pride in keeping New York City moving. NYC Parks and WorkWell NYC have teamed up with New York Road Runners to bring you MoveNYC, a fun outdoor event created specifically for City employees! Whether you’re a walker, runner, or roller, we welcome you to join us on the evening of Thursday, June 20 for a five-kilometer run through Prospect Park.
Want to get in on the action but not feeling prepared? NYC Parks will be hosting pre-race training groups to get you ready for the big day at various locations across the city. We will reach out to all participants in April with more information as we get closer to race day.
Is a 5K not your thing? You can still join us in the park to cheer on the participants and enjoy the pre- and post-run festivities.
Limited spots are available, so we’re holding drawings across all City agencies. To enter the drawing, please fill out the MoveNYC entry form by February 22:
If you have questions about MoveNYC, please contact movenyc@parks.nyc.gov and include “MoveNYC” in the subject line.
