Get Your W-2 Statement Electronically

Current City employees of Mayoral Agencies, the Department of Education, the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), and Elected Officials can choose to have their W-2 statements, including the W-2 statements for other calendar years, delivered electronically instead of by paper copy.

Electronic W-2 form delivery is voluntary, secure, and accurate. This paperless option supports a more sustainable New York City in accordance with Mayor de Blasio’s 80 x 50 program, which commits the City to an 80% reduction in greenhouse gases by year 2050.

If you choose electronic delivery you will receive an email by mid-January each year with instructions for accessing your electronic W-2, 1127 waiver and 1095-C forms. The electronic version can also be printed and saved.

If you do not choose electronic delivery you will continue receiving paper copies of your W-2 statement from your agency.

Enrollment Deadline

To electronically receive your W-2, 1127 waiver and 1095-C forms, you should select the paperless option before the end of that tax year.
