8.6 Million Stories

As one of the most diverse cities in the world, NYC offers millions of perspectives on any topic. To showcase these perspectives we will feature stories from our citizens that convey the intricate and complex fabric of life in NYC.

From homeowners and business owners grappling with flood insurance to lifelong residents telling a story about their beloved city to young people learning what they can do to make NYC more resilient to climate change in their lifetimes, we want to hear from all voices in our city's communities.

Through these stories we hope to highlight the diverse ways that New Yorkers are contributing to a more resilient city and how we can all take part in the fight to reduce our carbon footprint and make the Big Apple a more equitable, sustainable, and resilient place to live, work and play.
