On October 16, 2020, the New York City Department of City Planning, on behalf of the City Planning Commission as lead agency, issued a Notice of Completion for a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the proposed Zoning for Coastal Flood Resiliency Text Amendment.
A public hearing on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at 10:00 am in conjunction with the City Planning Commission’s public hearing pursuant to ULURP. In support of the City’s efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, DCP will hold the public scoping meeting remotely. For instructions on how to participate in the remote meeting, please visit NYC Engage. Written comments on the DEIS are requested and will be received and considered by the Lead Agency through Tuesday, February 16, 2021. The DEIS will incorporate responses to the public comments received on the DEIS and updated analysis conducted subsequent to the completion of the DEIS.
