Western Rail Yard Project- Final Environmental Impact Statement

On October 9, 2009, the New York City Planning Commission and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, acting as co-lead agencies, issued a PDF Document Notice of Completion for a Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the Western Rail Yard project.

A public hearing to hear oral comments on the DEIS was held on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 22 Reade Street, New York, New York 10007. Written comments on the DEIS were accepted at the hearing and until Monday, September 21, 2009.  The FEIS incorporates responses to the public comments received on the DEIS and additional analysis conducted subsequent to the completion of the DEIS.
