Geographic Relationships

Our geographic relationship files describe the relationships between different types of geographies and boundary changes over time.

Geographic Equivalencies show the relationship between different types of geographies for the same period (e.g., the relationships between 2020 census tracts and DCP’s updated Neighborhood Tabulation Areas and new Community District Tabulation Areas).

Boundary Changes show the relationships (comparability) for census tracts over different periods of time (e.g., the relationship between 2010 and 2000 census tracts).
