Bronx Metro-North Station Area Study

Bronx Metro North Area Study with train

The Bronx Metro-North Station Area Study (BMNS) seeks to ensure that coming Metro-North service at four new stations in the Bronx is as positive and transformational a force in the lives of Bronx residents and their economy as possible. Co-chaired by the Bronx Borough president, a Working Group comprised of elected officials, city agencies and area stakeholders is doing station-by-station planning to ensure thoughtful, holistic planning around each of the stations. BMNS will address obstacles, identify opportunities and target investment to ensure Bronx residents and the Borough’s economy benefit from this unprecedented investment in transportation infrastructure and new service.
