NYC Probation & NeON Arts - Supports National Arts and Humanities Month

The New York City Department of Probation joins thousands of arts organizations and communities across the nation to celebrate National Arts and Humanities Month throughout October. We are honoring the efforts of our NeON Arts participants, NeON Photographers, local artists, and cultural groups working to create cultural equity in New York City.

National Arts & Humanities

National Arts & Humanities Month is a coast-to-coast collective celebration of culture in America. Coordinated by Americans for the Arts, it has become the largest annual celebration of the arts and humanities in the nation. From arts center open houses to mayoral proclamations to banners and newspaper articles, communities across the United States join together to recognize the cultural gems surrounding them.
